The Inspiration for Ground Game HV

After years of working in the Democratic vended campaign services industry, it became apparent that there is a severe lack of competition within the industry, and that my colleagues and I could independently deliver better results to many clients than larger, remotely-operated firms could possibly achieve. That knowledge was the inspiration behind Ground Game Hudson Valley! We are born and raised here in NY-18 in the heart of Orange County, New York, and we know how to organize the Hudson Valley.

The major issue within the Democratic voter contact industry today is that mis-aligned incentives between campaigns and their for-profit campaign service vendors has, over the years, created a situation where canvassing skill is low, and fraud is often rampant. Despite that fact, large-scale voter contact vendors have no incentive to verify their data. What develops is often a surprisingly unseemly situation, and as a result, their GOTV efforts often tend to have a net-zero impact on election results.

Meanwhile, we at Ground Game Hudson Valley are a small network of highly experienced campaign professionals. After years in the industry, we knew that in good conscience that we had to do something different if we wanted to keep helping clients win elections. Over the past few years, we have proven that our methods work.

At Ground Game HV, our goal is not to obtain as many clients as possible and hire and fire as many canvassers as possible- instead, our goal is to create the most effective campaigns we possibly can, and to deliver real results for our clients.
